Job description

The Purchasing Manager contributes to company's success by leading and overseeing the overall procurement activities. The primary responsibility is to manage the procurement team including but not limited to: collaborating with different stakeholders (Internal and Suppliers) for strategic cost-effective sourcing of goods and services, supplier development, item development & standardization.

Ensures no operational disruption by maintaining a strategic and healthy stock level.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply chain Management or any Related field.
  2. Proven experience in procurement with at least 3 years Supervisory role or 2 years Managerial role.

Working or Basic Knowledge in:

  • Experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar position
  • Deep Knowledge of vendor management and inventory management systems.
  • Experience with local and global sourcing, logistics and supply chain best practices
  • Knowledge of Procurement knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy and systems

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Supervisory and Leadership skills with ability to train others
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization, negotiation techniques
  • An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient/Strong knowledge on excel and MS word
