About the role
RVS CARGO SERVICES INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join our team in Binondo, Manila City.
What you'll be doing- Overseeing the clearance of goods through customs, including the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation
- Acting as the direct point of contact between clients and customs authorities to facilitate import and export processes
- Staying up-to-date with the latest customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance
- Providing expert guidance and advice to clients on customs-related matters
- Liaising with shipping, transportation, and logistics providers to coordinate the timely delivery of goods
- Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on customs activities
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient customs clearance strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration with valid LCB certification.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Custom Broker, preferably within the logistics industry
- Excellent knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, customs authorities, and other stakeholders
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to handle complex customs-related issues
- Proficient in using relevant customs clearance software and technology
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality, efficient customs clearance services
