Team Leader/Assistant Manager (Travel Account)

Job Summary

The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of travel counselors, ensuring operational excellence, and driving customer engagement through effective communication and relationship management. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in travel systems, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams while managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates current processes and recommend improvements to gain efficiencies.
• Provides strategic direction to area of business for critical business decisions
• Initiates and leads standardization, improvement, re-engineering / cost effectiveness initiatives
• Identifies and implements revenue generation opportunities
• Works in diverse challenging environment and offer consultation & define the business requirements
• Leads change management efforts and share best practices with team and build diverse talent
• Delivers high quality standards across the processes and projects
• Adheres to Controls and compliance as per company policy and norms

Requirements:

• Knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Proficiency in GDS (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, etc.)
• Process Specific Skills
• The candidate should have a basic understanding of travel industry terms

• E2E Travel Process knowledge
• Self-Starter with ability to multitask.
• Willing to work in 24 x 7 atmosphere Soft Skills (Minimum)
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Result focus and self-driven
• High on flexibility
• Good in Multi-tasking and Time Management
