- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in insurance verifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and healthcare terminology
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Consistent attendance and adherence to assigned schedules
- Conduct aggressive follow-ups to collect data from insurance companies
- Perform thorough insurance verifications with strong understanding of processes and protocols
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy
- Enter and maintain data accurately with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and 90% accuracy
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Navigate and utilize multiple insurance portals efficiently
- Handle multiple assignments and projects under tight deadlines
- Apply medical terminology knowledge in daily operations
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Organize information effectively and demonstrate strong self-direction
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
