As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued efficient operation and management of our internal IT environment and infrastructure, maintaining the highest levels of technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes and works on high-impact tickets based on their severity and urgency.
  • Ensures timely escalation of tickets to the appropriate support level when necessary.
  • Actively manages and monitors all assigned open tickets to maintain progress and prevent delays.
  • Oversees the patching, updating, and general maintenance of internal IT applications.
  • Accurately plans and executes changes, ensuring minimal disruption to staff operations.
  • Contributes to project efforts, including the design, review, and implementation of new or upgraded hardware/software infrastructure.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally across all channels (written, verbal), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness for the audience.
  • Cultivates positive relationships across the business to support successful outcomes.
  • May be assigned additional tasks as needed, contributing to various IT initiatives and support efforts.
Requirements
  • Solid expertise in Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint) and Licensing Management.
  • Hands-on experience with InTune and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Strong background in Windows Server management (installation, configuration, and updates).
  • Experience with Remote Desktop Support (troubleshooting and providing support to end users remotely).
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage and Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools.
  • Comfortable working with automation and AI functions to optimize IT workflows.

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Experience with SolarWinds for system monitoring and network management.
  • Experience with Apple Device Management.
  • Familiarity with tools like Cloudradial, Thread, and Pia for service management and support.
