Senior Java Software Engineer

Work Set-up: Hybrid (3x RTO per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance Java applications. You will also leverage AWS cloud services to build robust, secure, and efficient solutions that power mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality Java applications and services
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust, efficient, and maintainable solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
• Build, optimize, and manage AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high coding standards and system performance
• Continuously enhance systems by applying modern Java frameworks, tools, and best practices
• Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principles
• Hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and build tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle)
• Solid experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway)
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Background in high-availability and distributed systems
