About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our growing team at Healthway QualiMed Hospital Iloilo, located in Iloilo City, Iloilo. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing strategic cost accounting support to ensure the financial success of our hospital operations.
What you'll be doing- Analysing and interpreting cost data to identify areas for cost savings and improved efficiency
- Preparing detailed cost reports and presenting findings to key stakeholders
- Collaborating with department heads to develop and implement cost control measures
- Performing cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making
- Maintaining accurate records of all cost-related transactions
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Providing training and guidance to finance team members on cost accounting principles
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a cost accounting role, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Proficiency in cost accounting principles, including cost analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
- Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software and data analysis tools
