Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Certified Medical Coder with an active PHRN License and strong hospital bedside experience to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for nurses who transitioned into medical coding and want to maximize both their clinical and coding expertise—while enjoying a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities- Review medical records and clinical documentation for accurate code assignment
- Assign ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes following official guidelines
- Ensure coding accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Coordinate with clinical teams for documentation clarification when needed
- Meet quality, productivity, and turnaround time standards
- Active PHRN (Philippine Registered Nurse) License
- Certified Medical Coder (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of medical coding experience
- At least 2 years of critical care hospital bedside experience, preferably in:
- Emergency Room (ER)
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Medical‑Surgical Unit
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation
- Detail‑oriented with strong audit and compliance mindset
