Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

As the Warehouse Supervisor at Avalon Chemical Solutions, Inc.', you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse located in Davao City Davao del Sur. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our storage and distribution activities.

• Oversee production staff
• Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and compliance with safety protocols
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to optimise space utilisation and inventory control
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Liaise with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of incoming and outgoing goods
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to warehouse operations
• Implement and enforce safety and security measures to protect personnel and inventory
• Identify training needs and provide guidance to warehouse personnel

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop warehouse staff
• Proficient in inventory management systems and warehouse management software
• Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution processes
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment
• Ability to read and interpret data, analyse information, and prepare reports
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
