We are in need of a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide in-home care for a senior with dementia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Administer oral and topical medications as prescribed by the physician/doctor
- Assisting with ambulation, mobility around the house, and physical therapy exercises
- Providing emotional support
- Communicating with doctors, monitoring medications and updating the family members
- Acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Collaborating with other health care professionals to establish a schedule of care
Qualifications:
- Vocational Course graduate of Caregiving
- NC2 holder
- With at least 2 years experience in elderly and dementia care preferred
- Physically capable of assisting the patient with mobility support and daily caregiving needs.
