The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring safety and compliance operation of the logistics yard, particularly in relation to the movement and operation of light and heavy trucks, handling of cargo, and incident/accident management. The role implements and monitors safety programs, investigates incidents, and supports compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
The role also supports accident and incident investigations, coordinates with involved personnel, gathers and organizes documentation, and helps implement corrective and preventive measures in accordance with company policies and DOLE/OSH standards.
