Pollution Control Offer/Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Pollution Control Officer (PCO) / Safety Officer to oversee the company's environmental compliance and occupational safety programs. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to DENR, DOLE, and OSH standards while promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace across all project sites.

1. Ensure compliance with environmental laws, DENR regulations, and company policies.
2. Monitor and implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards in all project sites.
3. Prepare and submit required environmental reports, permits, and documentation to government agencies.
4. Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring.
5. Lead toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and employee safety trainings.
6. Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and environmental concerns, and recommend corrective actions.
7. Develop and implement safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
8. Coordinate with government agencies such as DENR, DOLE, and local authorities during inspections and audits.
9. Maintain records of waste management, pollution control measures, and safety compliance.
10. Esure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce site safety rules.
11. Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
12. Support management in achieving zero lost-time incidents and maintaining environmental compliance.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Must be an accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or certified Safety Officer (SO2/SO3).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
• Knowledgeable in DENR regulations, Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) requirements, and the Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
