Core ResponsibilitiesAuditing and Assurance:

• Conducting internal and external financial reviews to validate the accuracy of reports and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
• Tax Preparation and Planning: Preparing, reviewing, and filing individual and corporate tax returns. CPAs can also legally represent clients before tax authorities like the IRS.
• Financial Reporting: Organizing financial documents, generating profit/loss statements, and filing official reports to governing bodies (e.g., the SEC).
• Strategic Advisory & Budgeting: Analyzing revenue and expenses to create budgets, forecast growth, and identify cost-saving measures.
• Specialized Accounting: Managing niche services such as forensic accounting (investigating financial fraud) or estate and retirement planning.

• Accounting Expertise:Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
• Software Proficiency: Mastery of modern accounting and enterprise software.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot discrepancies in massive datasets and resolve complex financial problems.
• Communication Skills: The ability to translate complicated financial metrics into actionable advice for business leaders.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA).
2. Must have completed all academic requirements prescribed by the school and regulatory authorities.
3. Must possess good moral character and no record of criminal offense involving moral turpitude.
4. Must be physically and mentally fit to practice the profession.
5. Must successfully pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination.
