The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of merchandising activities, managing field merchandisers, ensuring proper product visibility, and maintaining excellent execution of merchandising standards in assigned stores or territories.The role involves coordination with clients, store personnel, and internal departments to support sales growth and operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, lead, and monitor Coordinators and Merchandisers assigned to different outlets or areas.
- Conduct regular field visits and store inspections.
- Ensure merchandisers follow company policies, grooming standards, and work procedures.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations to merchandising staff.
- Address employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and attendance issues.
- Ensure correct product placement, shelf arrangement, and planogram implementation.
- Monitor product availability and avoid out-of-stock situations.
- Ensure promotional displays and marketing materials are properly executed.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of product displays.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Monitor inventory movement and stock levels.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports.
- Submit field monitoring reports, attendance records, and sales updates.
- Analyze merchandising performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely report submission.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- At least 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or field supervision.
- Experience handling merchandising personnel is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledgeable in retail operations and merchandising standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to travel and conduct field work.
