Maintenance Technician (Audio Visual)
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician (Audio Visual) to join our team at CBRE GWS IFM PHILS. CORP. in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of audio-visual equipment across our facilities.
What you'll be doing- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of audio-visual equipment including projectors, screens, speakers, microphones and video conferencing systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with AV systems and components, and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all AV equipment is functioning optimally and meets required standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on the proper operation of AV systems
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment servicing
- Collaborate with the wider facilities management team to coordinate AV-related projects and initiatives
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a focus on audio-visual systems
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of AV equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams
- Strong communication skills to provide effective support and guidance to end-users
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Certifications in audio-visual technologies or electronics would be highly advantageous
