The Opportunity
We are seeking a competent and highly professional Legal Officer to support the organization in ensuring legal compliance, contract management, and corporate governance. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the company’s legal interests and providing sound legal support across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, evaluate, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide legal advice and practical guidance to internal departments and management.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and maintain corporate documentation, permits, licenses, and statutory filings.
- Monitor legal risks and recommend appropriate actions to safeguard company interests.
- Maintain organized, confidential legal records and documentation.
- Graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Paralegal studies, J.D or a related field
- Bar passer preferred; candidates with relevant legal practice experience will also be considered.
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience in corporate, real estate, or commercial law professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Must be proactive, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Office location is at Ayala Life FGU Center Cebu, Mindanao Ave, Cebu City
