The Ex-Truck Salesman is responsible for selling and delivering products directly to customers using a company vehicle within an assigned route or territory. This role ensures efficient order-taking, timely delivery, proper merchandising, and collection of payments while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily route selling and deliver products to assigned store/outlets
Take customer orders and ensure accurate and timely fulfillmentMaintain adequate stock levels on the truck to meet customer demand
Ensure proper product display and merchandising at customer locations
Collect payments and issue official receipts in accordance with company policies
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Perform basic inventory management, including stock counting and reconciliation
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of products in the delivery truck
Build and maintain good relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
Report sales activities, collections, and route performance regularly
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications: At least High School or Senior High School graduate (College level is an advantage)
With experience in sales, distribution, or route selling is preferredValid driver’s license (restriction pro 1,2,3 appropriate for L300 Isuzu Travis)
Familiar with assigned territory or willing to learn routes
Physically fit and willing to do fieldwork
Skills & Competencies: Strong selling and negotiation skills
Customer service-orientedHonest and trustworthy (especially in handling cash and inventory)
Time management and route planning skills
Basic math and record-keeping ability
