Accounting Associate (General)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support our day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of Accountancy or a related course and have experience in general accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions including journal entries, sales, expenses, and other general ledger activities
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of transactions
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Reconcile freight, warehouse, and transportation-related expenses with operations
• Coordinate with other departments to validate billing, costing, and vendor invoices
• Assist in internal audits and documentation preparation
• Help improve financial procedures and internal controls
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and files

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or a related course
• With at least 1-2 years of experience in general accounting
• Background in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
