Document Control Manager

The Document Control Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective document control system across the project.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the company’s or project's document control procedures.
  • Ensure that all project documentation complies with organizational standards and industry regulations.
  • Lead and supervise document control personnel, including training, workload management, and performance evaluation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely document submission, review, and approval.
  • Maintain accurate document logs, control registers, and distribution matrices.
  • Control access to documents and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
  • Oversee document revision control to ensure the most up-to-date information is available.
  • Audit document control processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on documentation status and performance metrics.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders concerning document management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in document control, with at least two (2) years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
