Cost Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to support product costing, profitability analysis, and financial control across our FMCG operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance standard and actual product costing, supporting SKU-level profitability, pricing, and margin optimization
Perform cost and margin variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead, yield, and efficiency) and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams
Monitor manufacturing performance, including material usage, wastage, and production efficiency, and provide actionable insights
Oversee inventory control across plants and third-party warehouses, ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliation, and stock management
Monitor and control trade listing and A&P expenses, ensuring accurate accruals, timely reconciliation, and analysis of spend effectiveness and ROI against sales and profitability.
Support ERP and costing system implementation, including UAT, data validation, and process improvements
Drive process standardization, automation, and internal control enhancements
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including cost journals and reconciliations in compliance with IFRS/GAAP
Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and addressing queries

Required Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, management accounting or a related field
Preferable the candidate with experience in the FMCG sector, particularly with large retail chains or Manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial counting, reconciliation, and reporting
Experience with ERP financial module and project
Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
