Quality Control Assistant

About the role

Super Candy Corporation, a leading manufacturer of confectionery products, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Assistant to join our team in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety for our products.

• Conducting rigorous inspections and tests on raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure they meet our strict quality standards
• Documenting all quality control activities and maintaining detailed records
• Identifying and addressing any quality issues, and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related problems
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures
• Assisting with the continuous improvement of our quality management systems

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably within the manufacturing or food production industry
• Strong technical understanding of quality control processes, methods and tools
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using quality control software and data analysis tools
• A relevant diploma or degree in a technical field such as Quality Assurance, Food Technology or Engineering
