Over-sees the entire special solution and value-adding Cross Dock transport service and attendant client-principal contract/account management
Tasks in accordance with operational plans and targets, implements plan, supervise and execute a profitable and efficient operation as well as ensuring superior and effective service level performance that meets or exceeds client-principal expectations.
Actively support and participate in new business undertaking for warehouse, cross-dock and other forwarding and physical distribution special solution and business opportunities.
What you'll do- Supervises all operations and attain smooth, efficient and cost effective manner to meet the needs of the Business and to sustain profitable growth.
- Supports warehouse operations aligned with GWP standards set by internal Quality Team and Client-Set expectations.
- Lead in serving all cross-dock serviced customer/client-principal relative to contract compliance, its provisions and performance/service level update and review.
- Supervises efficient operations and achieve all cost, quality and performance targets in coordination with transport and forwarding activities in client-principal to store delivery fulfilment.
- Participates in regular coordination with internal business units to develop among others, sustainable initiatives on current contract as well as provide and open opportunities for business expansion.
- Supervises and ensure operations are kept fully up to date, and to produce daily profitability analysis and appropriate KPIs.
- Oversees and ensure all related financial responsibilities including among others, revenue sales are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner as well as all related costs are verified for payment clearance.
- Gets involve in developing a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
- Takes part in implementing Good Transport & Warehousing standards and ensure all staff training is up to date and legally compliant.
- Plans and strategize with team and implements actions aligned with the Principal’s requirements for more effective and efficient operations and services.
- Adopts a major role in the proper implementation of safety and security of all warehouse facilities including among others institutionalization of the annual emergency and evacuation plan .
- Perform other tasks as assigned by superior.
You'll thrive in this role if you
Educational Background- Graduate of any 4-year course.
- At least 2 years work experience in a supervisory role in the same field or industry
