Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing people strategies that support the organization’s growth and culture. This role is responsible for delivering strategic HR initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring positive employee and labor relations across SHG-operated and third party-managed sites.

Key Responsibilities:

 A.  Strategic HR Business Partnership
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders on HR policies, legal compliance, talent strategy, and organizational change.
  • Drives short- and long-term HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Partners with regional leadership to ensure alignment of people-related strategies.
  • Oversees and supports HR integration and standards across third-party management partners.
  • Manages complex employee relations and disciplinary cases with a focus on fair resolution.
 B.  Organization and Talent Development
  • Designs and implements employee development programs aligned with business needs.
  • Facilitates training, leadership coaching, and career development.
  • Leads talent reviews, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.
 C.  Employee Engagement and Culture
  • Develops and drives engagement strategies that enhance morale, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Leads employee engagement campaigns and events across both company-managed and third-party-managed outlets.
  • Acts as a culture ambassador, ensuring alignment with SHG values.
 D.  People Movement and Development
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition on onboarding, exit processes, and workforce planning.
  • Drives performance management processes and facilitates development plans for key talent.
  • Coaches and mentors direct reports, ensuring high team effectiveness and growth.
 E.  Employee and Labor Relations
  • Oversees grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Acts as company representative in dealings with labor authorities and legal proceedings.
  • Ensures policy enforcement and fair, consistent employee treatment.
 F.  Other Leadership Responsibilities
  • Leads cross-functional HR projects and initiatives.
  • Conducts learning sessions and contributes to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Provides oversight and strategic direction to HR representatives embedded in third-party-managed locations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the restaurant, QSR, or hospitality industry; experience in managing third-party service providers is a strong advantage.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Labor law, talent management, HRIS, performance management, leadership development, employee relations, and strategic communication.
