Overview:
The post entails directing a team of pricing experts and assisting countries with their quotation approval processes. The position ensures that SLAs are met effectively, manages country stakeholders, and serves as the point of contact for operational and process concerns.The post also ensures good governance in terms of country-specific policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- • Lead a team of Senior Pricing Analysts.
- • Managing day to day operations for the countries of support.
- • Act as backup in case of overflow of work or unplanned leaves from the team.
- • Ensuring that all quotes are accounted for and are monitored until completion.
- • Participation with in-country POCs on initiatives and project implementation.
- • Provide coaching & training to team members.
- • Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives.
- • Lead POT for stronger governance on SPA requests to optimize utilization rate and enhance profitability.
- • Improve Pricing Analyst business understanding to provide actionable insights for higher approvers, help decision making for important projects.
- • Conduct performance and salary reviews.
- • Act as project leader for expansion and promotion of POT to non-supported countries.
- • Will be point of escalation for any country or stakeholder issues.
- • Participate in UAT testing with country POCs.
Functional:
- • Act as backup in case of overflow of work or unplanned leaves from the team for the below tasks:
o The Pricing Analyst will monitor current product/region pricing to identify optimization opportunities and work closely with Global Pricing Strategy managers to make recommendations on all aspects of price management.
o Provide regular analytical support on the impact of regional price actions and conduct reviews with regional teams.
o Prepare presentations for pricing committee meetings for different regions.
o Track and analyse the impacts of forex, competitive and industry pricing trends and report on results and recommendations.
o Resolve data discrepancies as they arise to accurately represent the data & information.
o Develop and independently build and manage pricing dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support pricing decision-making. To be successful in this role the analyst would represent the core SE values along the reporting chain.
Qualifications
Education :
- Business Management or Marketing graduate (preferred)
Working E xperience:
§ Pricing analytics/management experience
§ Customer service experience
§ People management experience
§ Experience with bFO, CPQ, & Tableau (preferred)
Business Understanding :
§ Product knowledge
§ Pricing strategies and analysis
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills) :
§ Analytical skills.
§ Able to work with numbers.
§ Tableau dashboard knowledge (preferred).
