About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aluminum Windows Estimator with a solid background in the Australian residential construction industry and hands-on experience using V6 Estimation Software.
This role involves preparing accurate quotes and costings for aluminum window and door systems in residential a, working closely with the Urban Windows & Doors sales team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aluminum windows, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in V6 software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and site plans to prepare accurate quotes.
- Accurate and appropriate product selection based on customer requirements, relevant standards, and specifications.
- Providing accurate and timely creation of quotations and orders using V6 software.
- Prepare project files when the tender has been successful.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and confirm specifications.
- Provide technical support and product advice to clients and team members.
- Support the sales and project teams with timely and accurate information.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Proven experience in estimating aluminum windows and doors in the Australian construction industry.
- Proficient in V6 Estimation Software.
- Strong understanding of window and door systems, glazing specifications, and construction detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Technically minded with strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge and experience with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards relating to windows and doors.
- Familiarity with additional software such as AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
- Experience with residential and commercial projects.
