The Strategic Response team within IQVIA Digital is dedicated to aligning our value proposition across our suite of services and empowering our healthcare clients to create more effective and efficient digital engagements for both consumers and healthcare professionals.

As a centralized function, our newly formed team collaborates with partners- both internal and external- to deliver strategic and thoughtful responses for inbound Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and supporting our go-to-market teams in driving client success.

As an Associate Media Planner on the Strategic Response team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the strategic value of our client responses. This value will be derived by adding data-driven insights into both overall healthcare trends and specific therapeutic category information as well as applying your expertise to the nuances of media planning and buying.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to identify client opportunities, developing and curating media plans recommendations in response to these requests, and providing the strategic guidance needed for media activation in the healthcare communications industry.

Essential Functions
  • Compile and conduct research on the disease state or therapeutic area to guide audience recommendations.
  • Plan media buys across digital channels including: display, online video, connected TV, Endemic channels (endemic display, eNewsletter, Electric Health Record), Social platforms (META, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Develop and manage inbound Request for Proposals (RFPs), creating tailored media plan recommendations that align with client objectives.
  • Design PowerPoint templates that showcase IQVIA's capabilities and detail strategic tactic recommendations.
  • Audience identification & recommendation from platform & readily available audience list sources
  • Audience list segmentation based on client and sales team direction
  • Submitting Data requests for custom and/or advanced audience models
  • Budget allocation & scenario planning for media plans across channels and audiences
  • Clear & consistent communication of completed media plan outputs
  • Comprehensive notation for audience recommendations, caveats and qualifiers for activation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Three (3) years of related work experience required
  • Expertise in developing strategic media plans tailored to client objectives and market conditions.
  • Comfortable with math, numbers, formulas – especially media math (CPM calculations)
  • Moderate experience using excel – writing formulas, checking formulas/math/references
  • Reliable and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Resourceful – ability to use process documents and recorded trainings to aid in completing assigned tasks autonomously and timely
  • Adheres to processes and workflows while flagging any snags along the way
  • Collaborative, positive attitude, willingness to learn
