Job Summary

The Cargo Truck Driver is responsible for transporting construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from project sites safely and efficiently. The role ensures compliance with road safety regulations and occupational standards set by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and relevant transport authorities.

• Operate cargo trucks to deliver construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, aggregates, equipment) to project sites.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery based on dispatch schedules and delivery instructions.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip checks).
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or accidents during transport.
• Maintain trip logs, delivery receipts, and fuel records.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately to supervisors.
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials when required.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least High School graduate
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience driving cargo or heavy trucks
• With NCIII certification
• Familiarity with construction materials and site operations is an advantage
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
• Physically fit and reliable
