L2 Systems Engineer

We are hiring L2 Systems Engineer. The Level 2 Systems Engineer (M365 Focus) is responsible for delivering operational support and administration of client's Managed 365 services portfolio. The role requires hands-on expertise across core M365 services, effective ticket and escalation management, and excellent customer service in a Managed Services Provider environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide technical support and administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Security.
- Manage daily tickets, incidents, requests, and escalations related to the M365 ecosystem.
- Perform M365 environment maintenance activities including monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Support user identity and access management within Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including PIM, Conditional Access, and security groups.
- Assist with tenant configuration, application management, and licensing tasks in the Partner Center Portal.
- Utilize Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell scripts for system automation and administration.
- Follow documented operational procedures, ITIL framework principles, and internal quality standards.
- Proactively identify recurring issues and suggest improvements or automation opportunities.
- Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as needed.
- Meet personal KPIs for resolution time, ticket quality, and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 services in an IT environment.
- Proficiency with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Security workloads.
- Strong working knowledge of Entra ID identity management and access policies.
- Ability to administer M365 environments via PowerShell. • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API authentication and basic scripting.
- Understanding of DNS, domain management, and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts and service management workflows.
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing engagements.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to Microsoft Purview Compliance tools.
- Familiarity with GDAP and Microsoft Partner Center operations.
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) (Required
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate OR Microsoft 365 Certified:
- Security Administrator Associate (Preferred)
