You will support day-to-day finance operations within a fast-paced, shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Operations- Sort and validate incoming invoices and supporting documents.
- Secure invoice approvals from local entities before processing.
- Verify employee expense reports and supporting receipts.
- Perform 2-way/3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
- Process and initiate payment runs according to payment schedules.
- Monitor invoice status and ensure timely release of payments.
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly AP reports and aging summaries.
- Resolve discrepancies and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly accruals for unprocessed invoices; post journal entries based on approvals.
- Maintain organized and updated AP documentation and files.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate supplier records.
- Generate various month-end AP reports and perform account analysis.
- Support CARS declarations and reporting requirements.
- Provide data for Balanced Scorecard reporting.
- Log time spent on various processes and update in time tracking tools.
- Participate in UAT and project rollouts by contributing process documentation and test results.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documents and resolving queries.
- When required, assist other FSSC functions beyond accounts payable.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, MFG Pro) and AP/AR/GL modules.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a structured, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
