Project/site engineer
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project/Site Engineer to join our growing team at Gencore Construction Corp. in Mexico Pampanga. As a full-time Project/Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate and monitor construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process
- Manage and supervise construction crews, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and work practices
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to the project management team
- Collaborate with the design team to resolve technical issues and implement design changes as needed
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, budgets, and schedules
- A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project/Site Engineer in the construction industry
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required
