ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE

Job Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a pivotal role in processing check payments for our accredited partners located outside Cebu. Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative tasks essential for the smooth functioning of our finance department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Efficiently sort all incoming billings and documents.
• Process check payments accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor billing schedules to ensure timely payments and address any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with our messenger service to release checks promptly and track deliveries.
• Handle inquiries from accredited partners regarding payment status with professionalism and courtesy.
• Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Supervise and monitor the timely delivery of checks by our staff outside Cebu.
• Generate weekly reports detailing check releases and payment statuses.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated work ethic with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a pleasant demeanor.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial roles is highly desirable, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
