What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, document, and track bugs and system issues
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements
- Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test documentation
- Monitor application performance and suggest improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester (preferably in the IT industry)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail)
- Knowledge of web and mobile application testing
- Familiarity with APIs, databases (SQL), and basic programming concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
