Accounting Clerk / Assistant
Summary: We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial and clerical tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting the accounting department.This role requires strong analytical skills, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
- Enter data into accounting software with a high degree of accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a clerical or accounting role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work onsite : Business Park, Cebu
- Dayshift (Monday to Friday : 8:30am to 6:00pm)
