Accounting Clerk / Assistant

Summary: We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial and clerical tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting the accounting department.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
  • Enter data into accounting software with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clerical or accounting role is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work onsite : Business Park, Cebu
  • Dayshift (Monday to Friday : 8:30am to 6:00pm)
