Production & operations manager (manufacturing)

Job Description

We are in need of PMD Manager who oversees daily production, enforces quality standards, and manages resources for the parts division.

• Assigned in Parts Manufacturing Department (PMD) in Cebu Mitsumi Inc. Danao Factory.
• Manage daily production activities, ensure standards are met, and coordinate with other departments for raw material needs.
• Monitor performance and enforce quality systems to ensure rejected parts are managed properly.
• Oversee parts inventory, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate pricing.
• Supervise, train, and develop the parts manufacturing team to achieve production and quality goals.
• Develop and implement strategies for sales, and contribute to new business projects and initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with inventory and production management systems.
• Ability to interpret documents like safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Strong financial and negotiation skills.

• Bachelor's degree in business, business management, or a related field is often required
• Several years of experience in manufacturing, parts management, and inventory control is typically necessary.
