Crane Operator

About the role

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.

1. Operate a range of cranes, including overhead, gantry, and mobile cranes, to move and position heavy loads
2. Operate cranes and trailers (up to 100 tons) for the transport and placement of construction materials
3. Perform daily pre-use checks and routine maintenance on crane equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
4. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your team, and the equipment
5. Communicate closely with supervisors, engineers and logistics teams to coordinate crane operations
6. Maintain detailed logs and records of all crane activities and any issues encountered
7. Assist with the training and mentoring of junior crane operators

1. Minimum of at least 5 years of crane operation experience
2. Formal crane operating qualifications and certifications: NC II or NC III Certification
3. Must have handled Building tower construction projects
4. Operated trailers weighing up to at least 100 tons
5. Strong knowledge of crane operation, load capacities, and safety protocols
6. Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
8. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
9. Within the bracket: 35–45 y/o, or up to 50 y/o for those with outstanding credentials
