WAREHOUSE MANAGER

About the role

As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall logistics and supply chain operations of our manufacturing and distribution business.

1. Manage and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
2. Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize losses
3. Develop and optimize warehouse layout and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency
4. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, including schedulers, forklift operators, and packers
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
6. Analyze data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to optimize warehouse operations

1. 1+ years of experience in a warehouse management role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
2. Strong understanding of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and distribution processes
3. Proficient in using warehouse management software and data analysis tools
4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
5. Effective leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing a high-performing team
6. Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehousing industry
7. Adaptable to changing business requirements and able to implement process improvements
