About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join the team at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, responsible for delivering excellent service whilst driving sales and building lasting relationships with our clientele.This role is essential to our retail operations, directly contributing to our business growth and customer satisfaction objectives.
Key responsibilities- Greet customers in a warm and professional manner, providing exceptional service and assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and make informed recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card payments with attention to detail
- Maintain an organised, clean and visually appealing retail environment, including stock rotation and merchandise displays
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management, reporting discrepancies to management
- Identify and escalate customer concerns or complaints to supervisory staff, ensuring swift resolution
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through active selling techniques and customer engagement
- Maintain awareness of current promotions, pricing and product specifications to effectively communicate with customers
- Support loss prevention efforts by following security protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and provide backup support during peak trading periods
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a sales environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Numeracy skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic technology
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as required
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed for the retail environment
- Positive attitude, reliability and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and products
