Job Description: SFS Specialist
Division: Retail
Department: Shop, Food & Service (SFS)

Reports To: Shop, Food & Service Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

The SFS Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth from Shop, Food & Service businesses. The role supports the SFS team in improving the supplier rebates and royalties while also supporting the dealers' sales, profitability, and operational performance.

This includes implementing programs, monitoring execution, coordinating with external partners, and ensuring compliance with standards and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Operations & Standards Compliance
  • Ensure all shop staff are trained on Health & Safety, Retail Policies, Procedures, and SFS standards.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of Retail and SFS operational requirements within assigned stations.
  • Coordinate with Retail Business and Dealers for all activities affecting shop operations.
  1. Supplier & Dealer Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for food, beverage and merchandise items.
  • Lead the supplier accreditation process and product accreditation process, including documentation, compliance checks, and quality assessments.
  • Negotiate for competitive pricing, volume discounts, and supplier-funded promotions.
  • Secure and track supplier rebates, marketing support budgets, and annual business development funds.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate rebate and royalties reporting, invoicing, and collection.
  • Conduct scheduled business reviews with dealers on shop & food service performance.
  1. Merchandising & Program Execution
  • Develop, recommend, and manage localized shop programs.
  • Execute and monitor projects initiated for Shop development.
  • Assist in producing and implementing planograms based on performance data and best market practices.
  • Create recommendations for shop renovations to increase profitability.
  1. Data, Reporting & Market Monitoring
  • Collect and analyze data on Shop and Food Service performance.
  • Submit weekly SFS sales updates and weekly plans with variance explanations and corrective actions.
  • Participate in SFS planning and review meetings, providing updates and action items.
  • Keep updated on competitor initiatives and industry developments.

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Retail or FMCG.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, communication, negotiation, analytics, and presentations.
  • Must be willing to visit shop locations from time to time.
