Purchasing Manager

About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations for U.S.-based HVAC and electrical divisions. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with a strong background in purchasing, vendor management, and cost optimization.
You will play a key role in sourcing materials, managing suppliers, and driving operational efficiency while collaborating with teams across finance, operations, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute purchasing strategies across HVAC and electrical divisions
- Coordinate daily procurement activities for U.S.-based operations
- Manage supplier relationships, including pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and rebates with vendors and distributors
- Track and manage purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment
- Monitor inventory levels and support warehouse and field teams
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency
- Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems
- Collaborate with U.S. teams across operations, finance, and leadership
- Support standardization of purchasing processes across locations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- Experience supporting U.S.-based companies or working in remote roles preferred
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience with ERP systems and purchasing platforms
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, construction, or service industries
- Familiarity with U.S. suppliers (e.g., Ferguson, Winsupply, Grainger)
- Experience working in multi-location or high-growth environments
