Position Overview:
The Requirements Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting business and technical requirements for IT and operational projects. This role ensures that project deliverables are aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.The Requirements Analyst plays a critical role in bridging business users and technical teams for initiatives such as broadcast automation systems, OTT/digital platforms, regulatory compliance, and IT infrastructure upgrades.
Key Responsibilities- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Work with stakeholders to collect and clarify business needs, goals, and constraints.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and surveys to capture user stories, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze current workflows and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Documentation & Validation
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and traceable to business objectives.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and support test case development.
- Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and vendors.
- Manage requirement changes, scope adjustments, and prioritization.
- Communicate requirements and project impacts to stakeholders clearly and consistently.
- Project Delivery Support
- Assist Project Managers in scoping, planning, and monitoring deliverables.
- Support developers and testers during implementation and validation.
- Participate in system demos, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment reviews.
- Continuous Improvement
- Standardize and improve requirements gathering methodologies.
- Recommend tools and practices that enhance requirement quality and traceability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Exposure to IT systems, media/broadcasting solutions, or telecom platforms is an advantage.
