Responsible for regular vehicle preventive maintenance as well as corrective maintenance on heavy equipment including oil changes, lubrications, and parts replacement. Overhaul and repair engines, transmissions, and related systems to restore the equipment to optimal performance.Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing large machinery and equipment, such as construction and transportation vehicles. These machines include cranes, backhoes, loaders and other types of heavy equipment. Responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently, safely and in compliance with safety standards.
Perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests on heavy machinery to identify necessary mechanical repairs or replacements.
Qualifications/Requirements- Graduate of BSIT Major in Automotive Technology
- TESDA NCII (Automotive Servicing/ Heavy Equipment Servicing) training or a Certificate in vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus
- At least 1 year of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Able to clearly report equipment status, defects and repair findings to the supervisor. Capable of preparing basic maintenance reports and service documentation
- Proficient in diesel engine diagnostics and overhaul, knowledgeable in transmissions, brakes, and undercarriage systems.
