Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance function
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and expense report handling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Job Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, accuracy, and timely entry into the accounting system
• Review and reconcile vendor statements to validate outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies
• Process and verify employee expense reports in compliance with company policies
• Perform month-end closing activities, including accounts payable reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze AP-related reports, including aging reports and P&L analysis
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing accurate documentation and timely responses
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounts payable processes and recommend solutions to management
