Inside Sales Representative

Essential duties

The role will be assigned the following responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound customer calls with a required minimum number of calls daily.
• Using internet and social media to research on accounts and identify key stake-holders (CEO, IT, Finance, HR, Admin, Procurement & Operations).
• Understand customer issues and requirements in order to recommend a solution.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional and prompt manner.
• Increase sales by up-selling and cross-selling.
• Maintain strong knowledge of company’s products and services offering.
• Maintain strong understanding of promotions and campaigns run by the business unit.
• Qualify prospects into leads and to assist Account Managers to secure appointments to meet buyers.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Managers for further development & closure.
• Use Salesforce.com to document all customer call activities.
• Ensure database is well maintained and updated.
• All administrative and ad-hoc work as required by the role.

• College/bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Good communication skills
• Must have direct/indirect selling experience to new business accounts in a hunter role
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com
• Be available to carry out duties during Singapore business hours
