Manila - Java Developer (J2EE & Spring Boot) – Mid to Senior Level

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with solid experience in Java EE (J2EE) or Spring Boot to join our growing software engineering team. In this role, you will help design and develop scalable, high-performance applications that support our clients’ digital transformation journey.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using J2EE and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate backend services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement new features.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.
• Maintain proper documentation for technical implementation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely fixes to ensure application performance and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java EE and Spring Boot development.
• Strong understanding of core Java concepts, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
