About the role
Myridius (formerly RCG Global Services) is seeking a talented and ambitious Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software applications that power our clients' operations.This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, offering the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects.
What you'll be doing- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and maintainable Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement fixes and improvements to existing systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior members of the development team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- For Junior Developers - must have familiarity with Java OOP concepts and SQL scripting
- For Mid-Level Developers - at least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, preferably in an enterprise-level environment
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL (Oracle), and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or Spring Data
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be willing to work on Night Shift
- Must be amenable to work in Makati
- Must be amenable with Hybrid set-up (2 days onsite)
