The Operations Specialist role is a multi-skilled individual contributor who is an expert in learning agility and adapting to new or changing business needs. He/she will experience multiple operations environments and RELX businesses based on changing requirements, and will be exposed to new products, business units, and industries.

Initial assignments are likely to be project-based or limited duration for several months, with opportunity for exposure across a broad range of learning. Based on competencies developed during initial assignments, individual preferences, and business requirements, the Operations Specialist can build his/her career path on a dedicated team or business unit or continue with rotational assignments across the scope of RELX businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to support any volume-based customer facing or back-office requirement as needed by the business
  • Ability to provide customer support through email, chat or phone calls
  • A good command of interpreting written English language
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and able to remain focused
  • Good organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, with a demonstrable ability to summarize information quickly and accurately
  • Confidence in asking questions and seeking validation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (or equivalent experience) or at least 2 years college completed with no back subjects/incomplete units
  • Completed at least 2 years of college (with no back subjects) may be considered depending on BPO experience
  • Fresh graduates may also be considered based on communication skills and overall potential
  • At least 1–2 years of BPO, shared services, or related experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet applications) is an advantage
  • Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements, hybrid/onsite setups, and rotating work schedules
  • Willing to work at our REPH Quezon City site
