Logistics Assistant

Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Assistant to support the coordination, movement, and documentation of agricultural lime products. The role involves assisting with dispatch planning, inventory tracking, transport coordination, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers and farms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating daily dispatches of agrilime products
• Prepare delivery schedules and communicate with drivers and transporters
• Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Support loading and unloading coordination with warehouse and site teams

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and returns
• Assist with goods received notes (GRNs), delivery notes, and invoices
• Update logistics data in spreadsheets or ERP systems
• Report discrepancies in quantities, damages, or delays

• Liaise with customers, transport providers, and internal teams
• Respond to logistics-related inquiries professionally and promptly
• Support problem-solving for delivery or transport issues

• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures and safety standards
• Assist in maintaining documentation required for regulatory or audit purposes

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or warehouse operations
• Experience in agriculture, construction materials, or bulk products is an advantage
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Proactive and willing to learn
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset
