Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Booking Salesman to join our growing distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting retail outlets (sari-sari stores, groceries, and wholesalers) within an assigned route to secure product orders, ensure brand visibility, and hit monthly sales targets.
The Salesman will be responsible for conducting daily sales routes using a motorcycle covering the territories of Bulacan.
This isn't just about "selling"—it’s about managing a territory and ensuring our products are the first thing customers see when they walk into a store.
Key Responsibilities- Route Management: Conduct daily field visits to existing and potential customers according to the assigned itinerary.
- Order Generation: Analyze customer inventory and suggest appropriate order quantities (Suggested Purchase Orders) to ensure zero out-of-stock scenarios.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong rapport with store owners and procurement officers to secure long-term partnerships.
- Merchandising: Ensure products are displayed prominently and according to company standards (First-Expired, First-Out or FEFO).
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing changes, and new product launches in your territory.
- Reporting: Submit daily sales reports, collection updates, and feedback from the field to the Sales Supervisor.
- Education: At least a High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate; Vocational or College units are an advantage.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Distributorship industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, basic math for order computations, and excellent communication.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Restriction 1 or 2). Ownership of a motorcycle is a significant plus.
- Grit: Willingness to perform field work daily, rain or shine, and the ability to meet physical demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Generation: Conduct daily field visits to assigned territories to secure product bookings and meet sales volume targets.
- Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while actively seeking out new outlets to expand market coverage.
- Product Presentation: Effectively communicate product features, pricing, and ongoing promotions to store owners and managers.
- Inventory Monitoring: Check stock levels at retail points to prevent out-of-stock scenarios and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO).
- Market Intelligence: Provide feedback on competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences within your assigned route.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales transactions and booking processes adhere to company policies and DOLE-mandated safety standards during field operations.
- Reporting: Submit accurate daily sales reports, collection updates, and itinerary logs to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales experience in FMCG, distribution, or related industry (preferred but not required).
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Restriction 1 or 2) and self-owned Motorcycle.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- With a proactive, results-oriented mindset and willingness to be field-based.
