About the role
As a Security Officer at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION', you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at our facility in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental. This full-time role is an essential part of our security team, ensuring the protection of our assets, personnel, and visitors.
What you'll be doing- Patrolling the premises and monitoring for any suspicious activity or potential threats
- Controlling access to the facility by screening visitors and monitoring entry/exit points
- Responding to any incidents or alarms, and taking appropriate action as per company protocols
- Maintaining detailed records and logs of all security-related activities
- Collaborating with the security team to implement and optimise security procedures
- Providing a professional and courteous presence to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- At least 2 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control systems, and incident response procedures
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A valid driver's licence and a clean criminal record
