Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Troubleshooting faulty machinery and diagnosing the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities.
- Conducts mechanical repair of all machineries. Install, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Collaborating with others maintenance technicians to solve the complex mechanical issues.
- Keeping an organized daily log of all machine and repairs.
- Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Regular monitoring and logging of equipment behavior during operation and scheduled shut-downs.
- Attend to maintenance activities during machine breakdowns as may be required to restore operation.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Attend to fabrication request, work order and other special projects as may be requested and assigned.
- Assist machine operators on production equipment change-overs (i.e. screen sieves and die changing.).
- Proper use and safe keeping of electrical and mechanical tools.
- Assist electrical maintenance technician when necessary '
